Invesco Asset Management (India) informs about Amendment to Investment Valuation Policy and Procedure
Invesco Asset Management (India) (AMC) has announced addendum to Statement of Additional Information of Invesco Mutual Fund.
Invesco Mutual Fund has informed that the Valuation Policy of Invesco Mutual Fund is amended to modify norms for valuation of physical Gold & Silver, pursuant to SEBI Circular No. HO/(68)2026-IMD-POD-2/I/5780/2026 dated February 26, 2026.The revised norms for valuation of physical Gold & Silver are reflected at Para C.3 and Para C.7 of Annexure I of the Valuation policy. Pursuant to the said amendment, physical Gold and Silver will be valued by using the polled spot prices published by the recognized stock exchanges which are used for settlement of physically delivered gold and silver derivatives contracts. The spot polling mechanism shall comply with the spot polling guidelines as specified by SEBI from time to time and uniform policy to be followed by exchange as prescribed by AMFI vide its circular no 135/BP/125/2026-2027 dated April 13, 2026 in consultation with SEBI. Uniform spot polling guidelines prescribed by AMFI are reproduced at Annexure IV in the policy.
Apart from the changes pertaining to valuation of physical gold & silver, Valuation Policy is also amended to reflect the references of SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 2026 and SEBI Master circular dated March 20, 2026 and also remove references which are become redundant.
The amendment in the policy will be effective from April 16, 2026. Accordingly, the Valuation Policy forming part of the Statement of Additional Information (‘SAI’) stands amended to that effect.
