InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has launched daily direct flights connecting Bengaluru to Jeddah with effect from September 30, 2024. This route will offer a convenient option for business, leisure, as well as religious travel. The route will bolster the growing trade relations between India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), facilitating easier access for businesses across markets.

The direct flight will also offer enhanced accessibility to pilgrims travelling to Mecca, with Jeddah serving as a primary gateway for Hajj and Umrah journeys. This enhanced connectivity will not only simplify religious travel but also strengthen cultural ties between India and the KSA. As India continues to expand its daily connectivity with the Middle East, this route marks a significant step in deepening bilateral relationships, boosting tourism, and supporting trade and investment between these two dynamic regions.

InterGlobe Aviation provides air transportation services in India and internationally. The company primarily operates IndiGo passenger airline.
