Vishnu Chemicals rises on inking joint venture pact with DCX
Vishnu Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 731.95, up by 5.25 points or 0.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 726.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 735.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 741.45 and Rs. 712.05 respectively. So far 6187 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 743.35 on 07-Sep-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 444.25 on 30-Sep-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 743.35 and Rs. 655.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4888.10 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.21%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.45% and 22.34% respectively.
Vishnu Chemicals has entered into a joint venture agreement (JV Agreement) with DCX Chrome SAS (DCX), France for setting up a greenfield manufacturing facility at Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India with a proposed capacity of 6,000 TPA of high purity chromium metal.
For this purpose, the company and DCX will incorporate a joint venture company in India (JV Company), which will be owned by the company and DCX in the ratio of 50:50.
