BEML gains on inking pact with Universal MEP Projects and Engineering Services

BEML is currently trading at Rs. 2110.00, up by 12.20 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 2097.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2115.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2205.00 and Rs. 2108.90 respectively. So far 117980 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2276.75 on 24-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1361.10 on 30-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2,205.00 and Rs. 1,957.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17732.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.86% and 21.11% respectively.

BEML has entered into a strategic MoU with Universal MEP Projects and Engineering Services (UMPESL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Voltas to jointly pursue productivity-driven Fleet Management Contracts across India's coalfields.  The partnership combines the company's OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) expertise in heavy mining equipment with UMPESL's extensive capabilities in field service, maintenance and fleet management.

The collaboration will focus on comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) projects, particularly for Coal India and its subsidiaries, covering the company's range of bull dozers, excavators, loaders, dumpers and surface miners. Under the proposed operating model, the company will serve as the principal bidder, providing equipment, genuine spares, OEM-level technical support and training, while UMPESL will lead site operations with skilled manpower, mobile service infrastructure, tools and performance monitoring, supporting DGMS-compliant safety practices.
