Sukhjit Starch & Chemicals inches up on signing MoU with Government of Maharashtra

Sukhjit Starch & Chemicals has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government of Maharashtra. The MoU is for setting up of a new state-of-the-art Maize Processing Unit with a maize grind capacity of 1200 TPD for production of Maize Starch and its derivatives, entailing a Cap Ex of about Rs 500 crore, in District Nashik of Maharashtra State.
This strategic initiative aims to expand its production capacity and to further strengthen its market presence. However, further effective steps for setting up the new unit will be taken after receiving the timeline from the State Government for providing the necessary infrastructure required for the project.
