India`s current account gap stood at 1.1% of GDP in October-December
India's current account deficit widened in the October-to-December quarter, largely due to a higher trade gap, the central bank said on Friday.
The current account deficit stood at $11.5 billion, or 1.1% of gross domestic product, in the third quarter of fiscal year 2024-25, compared with $10.4 billion, or 1.1% of GDP, in the same quarter a year ago.
The deficit was at a revised $16.7 billion, or 1.8% of GDP, in July-September this year, the RBI said.
