HUDCO moves up on inking loan agreement with Andhra Pradesh`s Capital Region Development Authority

Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) is currently trading at Rs. 186.70, up by 6.00 points or 3.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 180.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 181.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 188.15 and Rs. 181.60 respectively. So far 587495 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 353.95 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 152.65 on 14-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 188.15 and Rs. 175.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 37405.50 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.83% and 13.17% respectively.
Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) and Andhra Pradesh’s Capital Region Development Authority have inked Rs 11,000 crore loan agreement for the construction of the greenfield capital city, Amaravati. As per this deal, HUDCO will extend a loan of Rs 11,000 crore for the capital construction.
HUDCO board meeting held in Mumbai on January 22 had given a green signal for the loan.
HUDCO finances social housing and residential real estate through primarily lending to State Governments and their agencies, which, in turn, extend the finance to or utilise the finance for the ultimate individual beneficiaries.
