Gujarat State Fertilizers surges on getting nod to invest Rs 28.85 crore in Vadodara Jal Sanchay

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 197.55, up by 1.75 points or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 195.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 198.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 201.85 and Rs. 191.70 respectively. So far 254038 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 322.45 on 23-Jan-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 179.15 on 22-Nov-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 215.20 and Rs. 191.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7895.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.11% and 38.05% respectively.

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals has received approval for investment of up to Rs 28.85 crore in Vadodara Jal Sanchay (VJSPL), subsidiary of the Company, by way of equity contribution in one or more tranches. The funds raised by VJSPL from member companies, by way of equity participation, will be used for undertaking the project for Tertiary Treatment of Waste Water. The Board of Directors, at its meeting held on November 12, 2024 have granted its in-principle approval for the same.
