Godawari Power and Ispat zooms on resuming operation at Chhattisgarh plant

Godawari Power And Ispat is currently trading at Rs. 808.25, up by 51.85 points or 6.85% from its previous closing of Rs. 756.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 769.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 822.10 and Rs. 767.85 respectively. So far 52106 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 844.55 on 08-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 353.00 on 03-May-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 822.10 and Rs. 730.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11086.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.26% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.49% and 29.24% respectively.

Godawari Power and Ispat has resumed its operation at 8 MW Bio Mass Power Plant namely Balaji Power A unit of Hira Ferro Alloys (A Subsidiary of the Company). Plant located at Chhattisgarh, where fire had occurred in August last year. The company has resumed the operation with effective from April 8, 2024. 

Godawari Power and Ispat is engaged in the production of sponge iron, steel billets, ferro alloys, HB wires, oxygen, fly ash bricks and is also in the power business.
