Filatex India rises on investing Rs 20 crore in wholly owned subsidiary
Filatex India is currently trading at Rs. 107.08, up by 1.64 points or 1.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 105.44 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 105.46 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 108.65 and Rs. 105.46 respectively. So far 51521 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 111.50 on 23-Sep-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 36.53 on 30-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 111.50 and Rs. 92.81 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4802.05 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.47%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.88% and 27.65% respectively.
Filatex India has invested Rs 20 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary -- Ecosis. The investment was made through acquisition of additional 2,00,00,000 equity shares of face value of Rs 1 each at a price of Rs 10 each of Ecosis. Post this investment, the company’s investment in Ecosis has increased to around Rs 85 crore.
The funds will be primarily used to finance the ongoing Polyester Textiles Recycling Project, repayment of existing loan taken from the company and working capital requirements.
