FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19533.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 12313.08 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 7219.93 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1475.39 crore with gross sales of Rs 1025.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 449.83 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 250.30 crore, Debt-VRR segment at Rs 165.89 crore, and Debt-FAR segment at Rs 33.64 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.93 crore against gross selling of Rs 20.77 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.84 crore in hybrid segment.
