FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7973.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 8719.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 745.58 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1409.02 crore with gross sales of Rs 1204.03 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 204.99 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 41.64 crore against gross selling of Rs 53.54 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 11.90 crore in hybrid segment.
