FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 06 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18291.58 crore against gross selling of Rs 19876.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1584.48 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 5325.86 crore with gross sales of Rs 2975.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2350.69 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1241.71 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 124.45 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 984.53 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 67.54 crore against gross selling of Rs 20.38 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 47.16 crore in hybrid segment.
