The current trading week witnessed a strong institutional divergence, with foreign outflows being effectively absorbed by robust domestic participation. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) recorded a net outflow of ?8,743.35 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) remained strong buyers with net inflows of ?8,790.75 crore. Supported by resilient domestic liquidity, the NSE Nifty 50 closed the week at 24,334.30. Global cues remained mixed, with geopolitical developments keeping crude prices elevated, as Brent crude stood at $81.67 per barrel, while the USD/INR remained at 96.24. Despite near-term global uncertainties, sustained domestic institutional support, stable macro fundamentals, and improving earnings visibility continue to provide structural resilience to Indian equities as markets focus on upcoming corporate results.
