FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per July 16 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12485.56 crore against gross selling of Rs 12659.19 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 173.63 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1932.85 crore with gross sales of Rs 500.71 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1432.14 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 153.13 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 4.86 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1274.15 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.62 crore against gross selling of Rs 22.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4.25 crore in hybrid segment.
