FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per February 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8848.25 crore against gross selling of Rs 13871.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5023.44 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 692.93 crore with gross sales of Rs 2432.91 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1739.98 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 266.35 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 110.9 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1362.73 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5.83 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.28 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 13.45 crore in hybrid segment.
