FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per July 21 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16826.08 crore against gross selling of Rs 14898.05 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1928.03 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1053.18 crore with gross sales of Rs 381.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 671.70 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 228.18 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 87.76 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 531.28 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 37.39 crore against gross selling of Rs 38.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.09 crore in hybrid segment.
