FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 13 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9976.27 crore against gross selling of Rs 12624.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2648.54 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1707.81 crore with gross sales of Rs 1706.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.35 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 670.84 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 86.73 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 758.92 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5.87 crore against gross selling of Rs 31.77 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 25.90 crore in hybrid segment.
