FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 16 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15190.08 crore against gross selling of Rs 14494.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 695.98 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 5028.94 crore with gross sales of Rs 1446.43 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3582.51 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1526.44 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 60.60 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1995.47 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2005.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 12.49 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1993.47 crore in hybrid segment.
