FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 14 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12629.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 9074.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3555.35 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1520.45 crore with gross sales of Rs 1377.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 143.04 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 234.25 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 680.65 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 589.44 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10.00 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.58 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.58 crore in hybrid segment.
