FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per November 10 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22237.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 14498.21 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 7738.80 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2429.86 crore with gross sales of Rs 3773.95 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1344.09 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 116.22 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 45.09 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1182.78 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10.14 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.95 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 13.81 crore in hybrid segment.
