FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 28 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20075.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 19122.12 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 952.89 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1736.56 crore with gross sales of Rs 3017.98 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1281.42 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 187.5 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 119.87 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1349.05 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7.11 crore against gross selling of Rs 17.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10.24 crore in hybrid segment.
