FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 27 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10315.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 8728.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1586.48 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 678.90 crore with gross sales of Rs 871.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 192.72 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 295.37 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 180.63 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 283.28 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7.98 crore against gross selling of Rs 460.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 452.13 crore in hybrid segment.
