FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per April 28 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18713.45 crore against gross selling of Rs 13673.08 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5040.37 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1959.58 crore with gross sales of Rs 2852.15 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 892.57 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 427.29 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1195.89 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 730.61 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 28.99 crore against gross selling of Rs 39.12 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10.13 crore in hybrid segment.
