Dhanlaxmi Bank rises on reporting 6% growth in gross advances in Q1FY25

Dhanlaxmi Bank is currently trading at Rs. 42.44, up by 0.26 points or 0.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 42.18 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 41.87 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 44.28 and Rs. 41.71 respectively. So far 211997 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 58.70 on 31-Jan-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.21 on 06-Jul-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 44.28 and Rs. 40.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1087.95 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.17% and 93.83%, stake in the Bank respectively.

Dhanlaxmi Bank’s gross advances stood at Rs 10644 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2024 (Q1FY25), posting a 6.02% rise in year-on-year (YoY) terms against Rs 10040 crore as of June 30, 2023. Total deposits grew 7.75% to Rs 14440 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2024, as compared to Rs 13402 crore as of June 30, 2023.

CASA stood at Rs 4504 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2024, posting a 6.18% rise in year-on-year terms against Rs 4242 crore as of June 30, 2023. Total Business of the bank grew 7.00% to Rs 25084 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2024, as compared to Rs 23442 crore as of June 30, 2023. 

Dhanlaxmi Bank was incorporated in 1927 by group of entrepreneurs at Thrissur located in Kerala. Bank's focus has always been on customizing services and personalizing relations.
