Hundreds of devotees visited Kalkaji Temple in Delhi to offer prayers on ninth day of Navratri. The ninth day of the Navratri festival is dedicated to Devi Siddhidatri. It is believed that the goddess killed the demon 'Mahishasura' on the ninth day. Therefore, the day is termed as ‘Maha Navami’.
