Market Outlook

The Indian market witnessed a range-bound yet volatile trading session following the newly implemented CAS mechanism. The benchmark Nifty50 index traded within a narrow range of 24,500 to 24,700, while the overall positive bias remained intact as long as the index sustained above its 200-DEMA on the technical charts. From the derivative prospect, fresh Call writing was observed at the 24,700 and 24,800 strikes, indicating immediate resistance zone, while fresh Put writing at the 24,500 strike suggested an immediate downside cushion. Overall, the prevailing technical and derivative setup suggests a buyon-dips approach to mitigate the downside risk.
