Investor sentiment turned cautious in the latter half of the session amid fresh geopolitical concerns following comments by U.S . President regarding Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, while Brent crude oil prices rebounded towards the $80 per barrel mark, limiting further upside in the benchmark indices .
