Market Outlook

The Indian market witnessed another session of significant decline, with the benchmark Nifty50 index falling 1.64%, amid the gradual rise in crude oil prices driven by ongoing geopolitical concerns. The banking index remained a major drag, declining nearly 2%, while weakness in Reliance and Bajaj Finance further contributed to the overall decline. On the derivatives front, fresh call writing was observed at the 23,200 and 23,300 strikes, indicating resistance on an immediate basis. On the downside, limited put writing reflects a lack of strong support near current levels. A decisive break below 23,000 could trigger further put unwinding and accelerate the decline towards the next support zone of 22,800-22,700.
