Bharat Electronics surges on securing additional orders of more than Rs 500 crore

Bharat Electronics is currently trading at Rs. 270.25, up by 2.90 points or 1.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 267.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 266.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 273.15 and Rs. 265.45 respectively. So far 713349 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 340.35 on 10-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 127.00 on 26-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 286.20 and Rs. 265.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 198058.46 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.04% and 10.82% respectively.

Bharat Electronics (BEL) has secured additional orders of more than Rs 500 crore. The major orders received include EMI shelters, AMC for Integrated Air Command and Control system nodes, Upgrade / spares for gun systems, spares for radars, communication system etc. With these orders, BEL has now accumulated orders totaling Rs 7,689 crore in the current financial year.

BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with various products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
