FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 05 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17701.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 16115.43 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1585.93 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1,683.85 crore with gross sales of Rs 1,129.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 554.4 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 225.78 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1.60 crore and net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 330.22 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 49.76 crore against gross selling of Rs 63.54 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 13.78 crore in hybrid segment.
