Bajaj Auto soars on reporting 19% rise in October sales

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 5358.25, up by 43.90 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 5314.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5286.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5446.75 and Rs. 5286.00 respectively. So far 8267 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5514.65 on 20-Oct-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3522.00 on 12-Jan-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5446.75 and Rs. 5238.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 151987.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.48% and 21.54% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 19% in total sales to 471,188 units in October 2023 as against 395,238 in the same month last year. Total domestic (2?WH + CV) sales increased by 36% to 329,618 units in October 2023 as compared to 242,917 units in October 2022. However, total exports decreased by 7% to 141,570 units in October 2023 as compared to 152,321 units in October 2022.    

Total domestic two-wheeler sales were up by 35% at 278,486 units in October 2023 as compared to 206,131 units in the year-ago month. Total domestic Commercial Vehicles sales stood at 51,132 units in October 2023 as against 36,786 units in October 2022, registering a rise of 39%.
