Bajaj Auto falls despite reporting marginal rise in October sales
Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 9401.75, down by 476.50 points or 4.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 9878.25 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 9899.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9899.70 and Rs. 9385.00 respectively. So far 25053 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 12772.15 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 5,320.00 on 03-Nov-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 10292.80 and Rs. 9382.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 264810.22 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.07% and 21.88% respectively.
Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 2% in total sales to 4,79,707 units in October 2024 as against 4,71,188 in the same month last year. Total domestic (2-WH + CV) sales decreased by 8% to 3,03,831 units in October 2024 as compared to 3,29,618 units in October 2023. Total exports (2-WH + CV) increased by 24% to 1,75,876 units in October 2024 as compared to 1,41,570 units in October 2023.
Total domestic two-wheeler sales were down by 8% at 2,55,909 units in October 2024 as compared to 2,78,486 units in the year-ago month. Total domestic Commercial Vehicles sales stood at 47,922 units in October 2024 as against 51,132 units in October 2023, registering a fall of 6%.
