Bajaj Auto gains on getting nod for additional fund infusion up to Rs 1,500 crore in Bajaj Auto Credit

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs 7713.00, up by 107.05 points or 1.41% from its previous closing of Rs 7605.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 7680.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 7740.90 and Rs 7623.00 respectively. So far 3656 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs. 12772.15 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 7308.00 on 05-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 7759.00 and Rs 7420.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 215335.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.51% and 22.45% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has received approval from Board of Directors for additional fund infusion up to Rs 1,500 crore in Bajaj Auto Credit, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, either in the form of equity capital / preference capital / or subordinated debt, as may be determined in the due course, in one or more tranches.

The additional fund infusion will be made during the financial year 2025-26 in a phased manner. The Board of Directors at its meeting held on March 18, 2025, has approved the same. 

Bajaj Auto is an Indian company which manufactures motorcycles, three-wheelers and quadricycles.
