Vikran Engineering rises on acquiring 49% stake in NOPL Solar Projects

Vikran Engineering is currently trading at Rs. 68.30, up by 1.05 points or 1.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 67.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 67.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 69.00 and Rs. 67.50 respectively. So far 36278 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 118.40 on 20-Nov-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 51.11 on 30-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 78.99 and Rs. 65.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1763.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.27%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.94% and 35.79% respectively.

Vikran Engineering has acquired 49% equity stake in NOPL Solar Projects (Target Entity). The company has acquired 4900 shares of Target Entity on May 15, 2026 (reflected in demat account on May 18, 2026).

The acquisition is in line with the company’s strategy to expand its presence in the renewable energy sector. It will enable business diversification and support long-term growth through participation in solar energy projects.
