Astra Microwave Products jumps on bagging order worth Rs 56 crore

Astra Microwave Products is currently trading at Rs. 625.75, up by 30.05 points or 5.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 595.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 600.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 633.75 and Rs. 600.45 respectively. So far 39253 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 690.00 on 09-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 223.05 on 31-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 633.75 and Rs. 538.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5944.51 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 6.54%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.73% and 75.73% respectively.

Astra Microwave Products has bagged orders worth Rs 56 crore (inclusive of taxes and duties) for Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of Precision Approach Radar (PAR) system from Hindustan Aeronautics, Bangalore. The order is to be executed within 10 months.

Earlier, the company had bagged order worth Rs 385.58 crore for supply of MPR sub-systems from Bharat Electronics (BEL), Ghaziabad.

Astra Microwave Products (AMPL) designs, develops and manufactures sub-systems for RF and microwave systems used in defense, space, meteorology and telecommunication.
