Ashok Leyland declines on reporting 9% fall in October sales

The scrip opened at Rs. 211.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 211.20 and Rs. 202.15 respectively. So far 269763 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 264.70 on 27-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 157.65 on 14-Mar-2024.

Ashok Leyland has reported 9% fall in its total sales, including exports, at 15310 units in October 2024 as compared to 16864 units in October 2023. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales stood at 5902 units in October 2024. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks and bus sales stood at 7455 units and 1953 units, respectively.
Domestic sales in October 2024 stood at 14067 units. Domestic LCV sales stood at 5630 units in October 2024. Domestic M&HCV Trucks and M&HCV bus sales stood at 7208 units and 1229 units, respectively.
