The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 139.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 114.60 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 22.08 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 58.52 per cent at Rs 1,984.50 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,251.90 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 71.61 per cent to Rs 1,736.50 crore from Rs 1,011.90 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 13.69 per cent at Rs 19.10 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 16.80 crore). Operating Profit surged by 3.33 per cent to Rs 248.00 crore as against Rs 240.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 34.79 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 2.07 per cent y-o-y to Rs 94.70 crore, while Taxation decreased by 890.00 per cent at Rs -7.90 crore (Mar'21 Rs 1.00 crore).
