* The BSE Sensex ended at 59,601.84 down by 621.31 points or 1.03% after trading in a range of 59,781.86 and 59,290.58. There were 7 stocks advancing and 23 stocks declining on the index.
* The broader indices ended in red and green respectively; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.05%, and Small cap index was up by 0.01%.
* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Telecom was up by 1.31%, Oil & Gas was up by 0.34%, and Utilities was up by 0.34%, while, Realty was down by 1.48%, Energy was down by 1.29%, Capital Goods was down by 0.46%, and FMCG was down by 0.65%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.
* There were Indusind Bank was up by 1.74%, Bharti Airtel was up by 1.46%, Maruti was up by 1.36%, Titan was up by 0.79%, and Bajaj Finance was up by 0.67%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.
* There were Tech Mahindra was down by 2.56%, UltraTech Cement was down by 2.49%, Reliance was down by 2.01%, HCL Tech was down by 1.99%, and HDFC was down by 1.88%, the top losers were on the Sensex.
* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,745.90 down by 179.35 points or 1.00% after trading in a range of 17,797.95 and 17,655.55. There were 15 stocks advancing and 35 stocks declining.
