* There were HCL Tech was up by 3.91%, Wipro was up by 3.66%, Tech Mahindra was up by 3.20%, TATA Steel was up by 2.98%, and Titan was up by 2.35%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Power Grid was down by 1.50%, AXIS Bank was down by 1.31%, Bajaj Finance was down by 0.82%, SBIN was down by 0.75%, and Mahindra & Mahindra was down by 0.58%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 16,770.85 up by 156.65 points or 0.94% after trading in a range of 16,936.40 and 16,688.25. There were 39 stocks advancing and 11 stocks declining.
