Nifty
Nifty futures closed at 17775 on a positive note with 9.70% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering. Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 64 points compared to the previous day premium of 78 points. BankNifty closed at 41518 on positive note with 6.79% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 167 points compared to the previous day premium of 172 points.
FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 1447 and were Sellers in Index Option 911 crores, Sellers in Stock Future 105 Crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 643 crores.

Nifty Call strike 18000 followed by 17900 witnessed significant OI concentration and may act as resistance for current expiry
BankNifty Put options OI distribution shows that 41000 has highest OI concentration followed 40900 which may act as support for current expiry.
BankNifty Call strike 41500 followed by 41000 witnessed significant OI concentration and may act as resistance for current expiry
