Nifty outlook
Nifty weekly saw the highest call OI jump at 15500, but only with a modest price rise, while 14700 and 15100 also saw high OI jump. Puts were mostly short, with 14500 and 14400 attracting the highest OI jump. Call OI fell the most at 14200 which saw short covering, while put OI fell the most at 13000 which saw long liquidation, suggesting that, overall, bearish bets are being unwound. However FIIs look to have added bearish bets mainly. They cut 10% of their index longs, while adding 9.8% to index shorts. Among index options, positions were boosted the most along put longs, whose OI rose by 12.7%.
