Morarjee Textiles Li posts Q1 net loss of Rs 19.33 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 19.33 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 16.81 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose three fold by 305.55 per cent at Rs 57.02 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 14.06 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 145.01 per cent to Rs 54.49 crore from Rs 22.24 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 165.71 per cent at Rs 0.93 crore versus (Jun'20 Rs 0.35 crore). Operating Profit surged by 130.93 per cent to Rs 2.53 crore as against Rs -8.18 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 107.63 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 54.11 per cent y-o-y to Rs 17.06 crore
