The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 17.26 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 16.70 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 3.35 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 9.00 per cent at Rs 466.81 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 428.26 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 8.46 per cent to Rs 426.05 crore from Rs 392.82 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 53.07 per cent at Rs 4.24 crore versus (Dec'19 Rs 2.77 crore). Operating Profit surged by 15.01 per cent to Rs 40.76 crore as against Rs 35.44 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 5.43 per cent in December quarter. Interest declined by 41.82 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.72 crore, while Taxation increased by 707.26 per cent at Rs 10.01 crore (Dec'19 Rs 1.24 crore).
