MOIL trades jubilantly on reporting 66% rise in Q1 net profit
MOIL is currently trading at Rs. 173.40, up by 14.65 points or 9.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 158.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 164.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 178.50 and Rs. 164.60 respectively. So far 201503 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 198.95 on 05-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 137.30 on 20-Jun-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 178.50 and Rs. 154.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3500.96 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.68%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.76% and 17.56% respectively.
MOIL has reported 66.31% rise in its net profit at Rs 102.78 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 61.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 24.38% at Rs 390.78 crore in Q1FY23 as compared Rs 314.18 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
Incorporated in 1962, MOIL is largest producer and seller of different grades of manganese ore in India.
