IRCTC catches speed on planning to start India's first indigenous cruise liner

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is currently trading at Rs. 3343.20, up by 50.95 points or 1.55 % from its previous closing of Rs. 3292.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3250.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3358.00 and Rs. 3183.20 respectively. So far 171721 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3425.00 on 08-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1291.00 on 04-Nov-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3425.00 and Rs. 2827.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 53344.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.40%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.36% and 13.25 respectively.

IRCTC is planning to start India's first indigenous cruise liner from September 18, 2021. In a tie-up with Cordelia Cruises, it will begin the first cruise from September 18 for which bookings can be done on the IRCTC website http://www.irctctourism.com. IRCTC has joined hands and signed the agreement with Cordelia Cruises being operated by M/s Waterways Leisure Tourism for promotion and marketing of the first indigenous luxury cruise in India.
