The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 83.99 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 4.71 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 1683.23 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 71.50 per cent at Rs 1,518.67 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 885.50 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 66.54 per cent to Rs 1,378.35 crore from Rs 827.63 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 336.78 per cent at Rs 14.37 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 3.29 crore). Operating Profit surged by 142.47 per cent to Rs 140.32 crore as against Rs 57.87 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 41.28 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 23.25 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8.98 crore, while Taxation increased by 753.29 per cent at Rs 14.25 crore (Jun'21 Rs 1.67 crore).
