HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 17902 on a positive note with 6.38% Decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering.
Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 48 points compared to the previous day premium of 75 points.
BankNifty closed at 41638 on positive note with 8.42% Decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering.
BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 139 points compared to the previous day premium of 269 points.
FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 2344 and were Sellers in Index Option 15674 crores, Buyers in Stock Future 1042 Crores. Net Sellers in the derivative segment to the tune of 12515 crores.
In cash, FII Sold 932 CR & DII Bought 1265 CR
