The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 319.11 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 12.95 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 2364.17 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose by 5.72 per cent at Rs 331.50 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 313.56 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 151.98 per cent to Rs -111.56 crore from Rs 214.61 crore in year ago period.
Operating Profit surged by 347.76 per cent to Rs 443.06 crore as against Rs 98.95 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 323.48 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 45.02 per cent y-o-y to Rs 124.51 crore, while Taxation decreased by 500.00 per cent at Rs -0.56 crore (Mar'20 Rs 0.14 crore).
