The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 116.00 crore compared to net profit of Rs 135.00 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 3.69 per cent at Rs 2,109.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,034.00 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.53 per cent to Rs 2,098.00 crore from Rs 1,988.00 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 44.10 per cent at Rs 109.00 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 195.00 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 76.09 per cent to Rs 11.00 crore as against Rs 46.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 76.99 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 289.19 per cent y-o-y to Rs 288.00 crore, while Taxation decreased by 400.00 per cent at Rs -54.00 crore (Mar'21 Rs 18.00 crore).
